[Update: Downloads live] OxygenOS 5.1.6 for OnePlus 6 adds Portrait Mode for front camera, battery commission in standing bar, and more

A new refurbish is rolling out to a OnePlus 6, bringing with it a good preference of changes and improvements. OxygenOS 5.1.6 adds some important highlights, such as Portrait Mode for a front camera, support for VoLTE on Idea in India, and several other things. Without serve ado, let’s take a demeanour during a changelog.

Idea subscribers should be happy to see that a OP6 now supports VoLTE on their carrier, and fortitude fixes for dual-SIM are really good to see. Portrait Mode fans, we can now use a sharpened mode on a front camera. And if you’re regulating Portrait with a back lens, we can now see a preview when regulating a Light Bokeh effect.

Some of we might have beheld that a battery commission indicator in a standing bar was not an accessible choice on a OnePlus 6. It’s a tiny thing, though people like Artem and me rest on it daily. So it removing combined in OxygenOS 5.1.6 is positively nice. Continuing on with a important changes, DND mode can now be scheduled, a phone supports a dual-4G network option, and we can automatically answer calls when joining to Bluetooth devices.

Thanks, Ryne. Left: Normal; Right: Portrait Mode

The OTA is in a staged rollout right now, starting in Germany and Canada. You can always try a classical VPN trick, go with Oxygen Updater, or wait. OnePlus has not updated a downloads page during time of writing, so we can’t go a manually flashing track only yet.
