Intermittent freezing during scanning process occasionaly the power light goes out. The connected PC stops recognising the scanner (IEEE 1394 ) interface. Turning the scanner off then on again maybe 1-3 times cures the problem. This has become more and more frequent. I do not think this is a PC problem. Maybe the IEEE 1394 interface within the scanner stops working? I hope you can fix it!!!
