The firewire (i-link) socket on the front of the video camera has lost one of it's pins (It has broken off and came out with the cable when unplugged!) and would probably need the defective socket removing and a replacement socket soldering on to the pcb in its place.

My headphones were shipped back to me fully repaired and 2 days ahead of original schedule.
