The NVR was in storage for a while. It was reinstalled by a competent person, myself.
The NVR was recording fine at first, for a week or 2. Recording became intermittent and now doesn't record. When viewing cameras the video on screen is lagging and choppy. The system also stalls intermittently
Reformatted the HDD, didn't work. Replaced the HDD and reformatted, hasn't worked. Replaced the capacitor near the HDD power (Step taken according to information online), hasn't fixed the issues. The symptoms are the same after replacement of cap.
Cameras are wired, tried separate cameras to test if cameras or networking is the issue, Im a network technician. No firmware available online for the NVR-460. That's about as far as my technical skills go with PCB repair.
