    Youl'll have to excuse me if i use some of the wrong terms… The pcb is a jackboard for an Alessis V49 Midi Controller. The usb female connector snapped off so i bought a new one and tried to replace it. However because I am an amateur, somewhere in the desoldering process I might have broke one of the connections on the pcb board by heating it too much. Anyway in my stupidity I soldered the piece on anyway. Its still on there and I dont want to do any more damage to the part by desoldering again because I am rubbish at that so I thought id just ask for your help.
