      • This is a high hat controller pedal from a Carlsbro CSD200/ADD501 electronic drum kit. The controller pedal has suddenly stopped working. I am not 100% sure whether its the controller pedal or the drum kit module. I can get the module to react by holding the different sections of the 3 section headphone type plug that plugs into the pedal, so am assuming that the main module is ok. I have disassembled the foot pedal but cannot see anything obviously amiss so have come to the conclusion that the small PCB is the most likely culprit.
        The set up is simple by the looks of it, there is 4 pressure type sensors which the foot pedal press against depending on how far you depress the pedal, a 5 connection (1 per sensor + a common) lead connecting to a small PCB with half a dozen diodes and the female audio plug soldered to it. I cannot see any obvious marks or burns on the PCB, but I don't have the means or knowledge to test it properly.
