MHF4 connector spike on shield that cable from WiFi Bluetooth daughter board connects to.
Stuck connection when removing as very first step before repaste heatsink.
Solder and surrounding glue I think was weak and when pulled up and removed the connection from the PCB when removing cable it also tore off the spike. Some small damage visible to PCB in area towards the track on bottom and top right of contact points on photo. I believe the two visible pads is where the glue pulled the coating on board and not functional…

Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
