    It's the circuit board for an electric projector screen. It's a simple switching board that uses the an IR remote or 12v trigger from a projector to switch the 240v motor to control the screen.

    By mistake I connected the 12v trigger to the 3.5mm IR input instead of the 2.5mm 12v trigger input and it made a cloud clunk noise and stopped working. The motor all works if you bypass the circuit board so I assume I've blown something on the board.

    I can't see anything obviously blown but I've included a photo of the board.
