Hi there,
The few days ago my little girl decided it would be a good idea to pour her squash everywhere, well you know what's coming…. Upon closer inspection, perhaps a teaspoon or so has run through a vent and affected one large chip on the board, I believe this to be the issue.
It was working fine until I noticed the remote a bit sluggish, after verifying remote I rebooted the box for it never to return. It fires up but during boot it will throw up 'HW ERROR' and will not progress. I believe this error can happen with cheap clone boxes for other reasons, but this is a genuine Vu+Do you think you could have a look at it, I think the board is near identical to the Duo?

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. -

The requested repair was also carried out efficiently, and I am very pleased with the result. I have dropped one star in my review because the repair included replacing a red/green LED, and the red LED is so bright that the surrounding fabric is also illuminated, whereas the green LED is quite dim and can only be seen from certain angles. I guess that EP found it difficult to procure the original LED component which is undoubtedly a B&W special.
