Hi.
Please can you advise if you could repair. There is an issue with my Honor Note 8 phone, I have images to illustrate if required. Model: Honor Note 8 EDI-AL10
I've taken good care of this phone but the phone often displays " Attentio. Battery temperature is too low. functionality is limited".
When I test the temperature of the battery with the Ampere app, it says the temperature is often -31°c which it clearly is not, as it's never been in below zero conditions.
When this issue arises it prevents the phone from charging properly and occasionally won't reliably switch on.
The notification messages are actioned/closed by a "OK" button but only then do they disappear. they repeatedly appear though, sometimes every minute or two. for example, yesterday I had to repeatedly touch to close them because they kept appearing over my satnav whilst I was driving, which is pretty disruptive and dangerous.
The fault also seemed to cause the battery to be incorrectly shown suddenly at 19% for a couple of hours until I rebooted the phone at which point the battery corrected to 27% without any charge.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
