Hi,
My bother kindly let me buy his phone 8+ off him. However I have gone to set this up and it will not charge. It was on for a bit yesterday whist I set it up however then crashed and is now stuck on 0%. I left it off for a bit, hard reset it and no change. So I left it on charged over night and nothing its still stuck on 0%, tried a few chargers and wireless chargers no change. I am not getting the normal battery symbol as it the phone was dead, it comes on and then restarts itself showing low battery at 0%.
My bother advised this battery was replaced in april 2021 and then he had a upgrade in September 2021 so it was only used for 5 months on this new battery and then sat in the box for a very long time. Now I’ve taken it to apple and they have ran some tests and found the wireless charger broken which as it’s attached to the battery this is causing the problem I’m having. Could of been damaged when he had the battery replaced. Can you fix this? How much to sort it out and is it on a guarantee.
