Yesterday my daughter dropped her iphone 7 plus on a hard tiled floor. It's a refurbished phone. While plugged into the charger, the apple logo white screen will go on intermittently for 12 seconds & then go on to a black screen for 12 seconds. When we hold the home key & low volume key on the iphone it will eventually go on to the recovery mode screen. This screen will stay on for a good number of minutes & then return to intermittent white apple logo screen & black screen. Once the charger is removed, the screen is permanently black. We tried plugging the phone into itunes on windows 10 but without the charger it can't be forced to restart. The USB cable is fine as we were able to connect her older iphone 5s to itunes. We also tried to blow out any possible debris from the phone. Do you think it needs a new battery or something wrong with the LCD? Is it worth fixing or should we just buy a new phone? She's had the refurbished phone 19 months.
