The phone was dropped and an damage caused to the top left hand side of the screen (Not cracked) Initially the pixels died and turned purple, which then slowly spread across the screen & all pixels are now dead. The phone was still operating when I was able to partially see the screen when some pixels were still active. I believe the phone still works as my LED notification light still flashes.
I wanted to know if this problem requires a complete LCD screen replacement, or if the glass on the front of the screen is what needs replacing.
For either option, please let me know a estimate.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
