  • Went to use the phone, when I picked it up the phone was off.
    Now, when I switch phone on, the white on black Prestigio ‘shield’ logo appears (as normal).
    After few seconds the boot sequence begins (as normal – but there is no vibrate) but cuts off after 2-4 seconds.
    Phone goes dead.
    I have tried a factory reset from the recovery menu but this has made no difference.
    Even booting from the recovery menu the same thing happens.
    I have to remove the battery for a few seconds before each attempt.
    Phone has not been dropped or allowed to get wet.
