The phone, when turned on shows what I can only describe as a flickering green screen with some horizontal lines. The information you can see through this screen varies, but it is hard to detect, and flickers. It is possible to enter information and for that to produce a further screen, but you can barely see anything. Samsung have suggested various diagnostics by pressing buttons simultaneously, but this has just made things worse, and the phone cannot now switch off. The phone may have sustained these problems initially from being dropped, but there is no indication of any crack or damage to the screen.
