    Hi there,

    I have a mi 8 with an issue, the screen broke but evidently more than that happened. I got a replacement screen but that didn't work on the phone but it did work when tested on another phone (I checked).

    The phone is working in some capacity, able to use web whatsapp and receive calls (although not answer without use of the screen).

    I mainly want the data (photos) off the phone but not sure how to now that the screen doesn't seem to work and can't be simply replaced with another?
