The kindle was dropped onto a stone floor and landed flat to the floor. Kindle screen has two diagonal scores lines to the top left of the screen. The screen doesn't appear to feel broken from the exterior front but there is definite indentation of score lines behind the front screen on the interior. I can turn the kindle on and after several tries I can enter my passcode and access the home screen but from then on I cannot navigate the kindle any further.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
