Device wasn't charging – tried the reset. It is now stuck on screen "please wait a moment while your kindle starts up"
Possibly ran out of power before the reset could be done. Tested the usb charging cable and it is fine…. possible charger port fault?
tried all the other ways to reset by holding in the button etc…. no luck…. device looks like it is out of power. device is about 18months old.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player. Would definitely recommend EP and would use again where one can repair and reuse perfectly good equipment rather than unnecessarily throw it away. Many thanks EP. -
