Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2-inch Repairs

The screen has a dark section on one side where the back lighting is not working but the whole screen also keeps going black. You can see that the screen is working and still responding to inputs if you put the tablet under a bright light. The screen seems to work again is I do a hard reset (power, vol, home button) but stops working again usually in a few mins.
I have done a software update and also factory reset and this did not resolve it.Can you repair? can you advise of likely repair cost.
