I have a Pioneer KRP-500a plasma with the KRP-M01 media receiver. When switching the TV on, the media box switches on for a few seconds then goes back into standby. The blue light on the panel blinks 8 times repeatedly. A search indicates this may be problem with the media box main board power supply capacitors, so hopefully not too expensive and worth repairing.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
