The unit is a professional, standalone camera monitor screen with various inputs/outputs including HD-SDI and HDMI.
I opened the unit to clean from dust (I do this once every few months) and accidentally stripped the LCD screen ribbon cable connector. Electronic Partners repaired this for me as its on a small PCB board but the screen still does not turn on. The fan works on start-up so the unit is receiving power.
All original components are present and the unit has had no other damage.
I have a 2nd non-working DP7-Pro monitor which is identical, which I will provide for parts which may be needed for the repair process.
The monitor worked fine until I stripped the LCD ribbon connector port. The subsequent repair has not fixed it.
The navigation wheels (top right and top left of the monitor) are attached to PCB boards and MUST be removed with great care as these are easily damaged. The parts monitor I am supplying is one I damaged in removing the nav wheels PCBs!
I have several images on the unit and its internals as well as the repaired PCB ribbon connector but I cannot upload them all using this form.
Please advise if repair is possible and quote.
