Best early Black Friday Fitbit Deals 2021

Black Friday deals on Fitbit have officially started, making it a great time to pick up the wearable in time for Christmas.

The day itself is on 26 November, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have to wait until then. Black Friday sales have already begun and our advice is clear: if you see a massive discount now, pick it up.

It’s unlikely prices will go lower on the day itself. Certain retailers advertising Black Friday prices now, such as Best Buy, promise prices will remain the same – Currys has a similar price promise in the UK.

Making the most of a major Fitbit discount ahead of Black Friday also reduces the risk of dealing with stock shortages, or long delivery turnarounds towards the end of the month. With the HGV driver shortages in the UK and overall supply chain crisis globally, it’s possible such delays may happen.

So whether you’re looking to buy a Fitbit for yourself, or as a Christmas gift for someone else, there’s no better time to shop for one than now. Plus now that Fitbit has launched a Luxe, Charge 5, Versa 3, Inspire 2, Ace 3, and the Sense, we expect even more discounts on previous models, like the Versa 2 which is now only £99 – the cheapest it’s ever been!

We’re keeping track of all the best Fitbit deals right here. We’ll separately be tracking the best Black Friday deals in this article.

Where to find Fitbit deals over Black Friday 2021

You can find Fitbit deals around the web from various different retailers from time-to-time. It’s worth checking them all if you’re on the hunt for a great deal because you never know when a new discount might appear.

We’d recommend you check these retailers first:

You might like to sign up to a Prime membership. If you don’t have a subscription, get a 30-day free trial. This allows access to Lightning Deals 30 minutes early, as well as free next-day delivery. We often see Fitbits offers as part of Amazon’s daily deals, so it’s worth watching.

We’ve got a complete guide to choosing the best Fitbit here. Fitbit also has a comparison tool that can help you decide which device is best for you.

Buying old or second-hand Fitbits

There have been many models of Fitbit since the first: Classic (2007), Ultra (2011), One (2007), Zip (2012), Flex (2014), Force (2014), Surge (2015), Alta (2016), Blaze (2016) and Ionic (2017) are all discontinued.

As these models haven’t been sold for a number of years, we wouldn’t recommend buying them secondhand, as their batteries are likely degraded by now. The same goes for older Charge (2014), Charge HR (2015) and Charge 2 (2016) activity trackers.

The Ionic, Fitbit’s first smartwatch, is now looking long in the tooth, and you’ll get a much better smartwatch in the Versa 2 or 3 for a better price new.

There are deals on the excellent Charge 4 activity tracker that are certainly worth looking at, now that the Charge 5 replaces it in the current line up.

Older Fitbit smartwatches include the original Versa (2018) and Versa Lite (2019), both of which remain decent products, but look for deals on at least the Versa 2 (late 2019) if you can.

You’ll find the best deals on these older but recent Fitbits above.

Fitbit Premium free trial

Fitbit has extended its 7-day free trial of Fitbit Premium to an impressive 90 days for new customers – which is a great incentive to stay fit while stuck indoors.

Fitbit Premium offers additional personalised health insights to Fitbit owners, like advanced sleep tools, and access to over 150 videos and audio workouts. The service otherwise costs £7.99/US$9.99 per month or £79.99/US$79.99 per year.

The Inspire 2 comes with a year’s free Premium, and there’s usually at least 90 days on the others.

The easiest way to get the offer is through the app (trust us, we tried finding the offer on desktop and got nowhere) which is free on Android or iOS. After creating and logging into your account, select the ‘Premium’ icon at the bottom of the dashboard. You’ll see options to sign up for either a monthly or annual subscription, which will activate the option to start your trial. Don’t worry, you can cancel 24 hours before the trial ends, otherwise it auto-renews,

Most Fitbit users keep their healthy promises longer thanks to the great mobile app and challenges with friends, colleagues, and family.
