OnePlus’s latest handset may be the mid-range Nord, but if you’re after flagship specs the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are the best phones that money can buy right now.
The OnePlus 8 phones launched 14 April and went on sale in the UK on 21 April, and in the US on 29 April. Prices start at £599/US$699. We’re keeping tabs on which retailers you can pick it up from and the best offers.

About the OnePlus 8 phones
The OnePlus 8 phones beef up on 7T specs. Aside from better cameras with a dedicated colour filter (and a fourth camera on the Pro model), both phones feature faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processors and 5G connectivity.
The 8 Pro gains IP68 waterproofing, wireless charging and a 120Hz refresh rate. We’ll spare you the tech spec geekery in this article, as we’re focusing on deals, but you can see our coverage here for everything there is to know about the new OnePlus 8 phones.

The OnePlus 8 range is available at different price points depending on the configuration you choose directly from OnePlus.

The phones are available in Onyx Black and Glacial Green only in the UK, while the US gets the additional colours Interstellar Glow and Ultramarine Blue.

Best OnePlus 8 SIM-free deals
From now until 11 September, customers in Europe can pick up a free pair of OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z earphones and a free protective case with OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro purchases.
Until 10 August, US shoppers can pick up a US$100 accessory voucher with OnePlus 8 purchases in Interstellar Glow, or a $150 voucher with OnePlus 8 Pro purchases.
You can order the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro directly from OnePlus, where there are also discounts on the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones, cases and charging bundles.
John Lewis currently has £100 off the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Three is the only network provider offering the OnePlus 8 phones. Its cheapest plan offers 4GB of data for £29 upfront and £44 per month. You can opt for unlimited data for £51 per month on a 24-month plan, with 50% off the first 6 months. See its OnePlus 8 deals or OnePlus 8 Pro deals.
In the US you can get 50% off the OnePlus 8 when you buy the device on Sprint (on an 18-month term, no upfront cost, US$14.58 per month, was $29.17).
Meanwhile, US customers who opt to buy via T-Mobile can also get up to 50% off the OnePlus 8 (on a 24-month term, no upfront cost, US$14.58 per month, was $29.17)

Students and staff shopping for Back to School ahead of schools re-opening on 2 September, can also get a discount from OnePlus as a part of its Education Program, which grants up to 10% off any order. You will need a .edu email address to register, or you can register via Student Beans.
