You don’t hear a lot about the Huawei GX8, but it came out around the same time as the Honor 5X. It’s a slightly tweaked and substantially more expensive phone at $350. It’s on sale today at Best Buy for $120 off, bringing the price to $230 with free shipping.

The GX8 has a 5.5-inch 1080p LCD and Huawei’s usual all-aluminum body. There’s a 13MP camera and fingerprint sensor around back. Inside is a Snapdragon 616, 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot, and 2GB of RAM. This is an unlocked GSM/LTE phone and it supports plenty of LTE bands, including band 12 on T-Mobile.

At $350, this phone is a really hard sell when the Honor 5X is just $200. With the pricing closer, it might make sense to get the GX8 if you want a camera with OIS. The build quality is also reportedly a bit nicer. Best Buy has the GX8 in gold, silver, and gray. It doesn’t look like it’s available in stores, so you’ll need to have it shipped.
