Dragon Anywhere Professional Voice Dictation App Now Available, But Requires A $15 Monthly Subscription

Nuance announced it was bringing its business-oriented voice dictation service Dragon Anywhere to Android back in August, and now it’s finally here. The app is live in the Play Store, but it’s not free. Dragon Anywhere requires a $15 monthly subscription, but you can give it a shot free for 7 days.

Like Google voice dictation, you can use Dragon Anywhere to input text with your voice. It has integration with cloud services like Evernote and Dropbox, and includes more formatting commands than you get with Google. It also supports custom commands to insert addresses or commonly used phrases. It can even select text entirely by voice. You need to be online to use Dragon Anywhere, but it does sync your customizations and preferences across devices and platforms (it already exists on PC and Mac).

The $15 monthly price is just for a one month plan—you save a bit if you buy larger blocks. Nuance also has $40 three-month and $150 yearly plans. Annoyingly, the 7-day trial requires you to provide a credit card and agree to be charged for a full month if you don’t cancel in time.
