The recently announced 24in Apple iMac with the M1 processor is now available to buy around the world. You can pick up the new iMac directly from Apple as well as a number of other retailers. We’re tracking all the places you can buy the new iMac right here.
Apple announced the M1 iMac at its 20 April Spring Loaded event, along with new iPad Pro tablets with M1 (you can watch the event again if you missed it).
As a throwback to the past, the latest devices will ship in an assortment of colours; but unlike the past generations, the 4.5K Retina display will be totally flat, with slimmer bezels, a smaller chin, and just 11.5mm thick.
You can thank the M1 chip’s SoC architecture for the new chiselled look. The M1 also boosts performance by up to 85%, with up to double the GPU speed, making demanding tasks such as 4K video editing on multiple streams without dropped frames in Final Cut Pro possible.
The new 24in iMac also features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, studio-quality microphones, and a six-speaker set up with added Dolby Atmos support. If you want to learn more about the specs and features on the M1 iMacs see this handy article.
So without any further ado, here’s where you can buy one and how much it will cost you.
