The mic has not been functioning correctly for a while only working when in certain positions. The feedback from the mic would make crackling sounds when adjusting to find the position it would work. Recently the mic stopped working altogether.
After almost two weeks of emails Astro refused to touch it since it's out of warranty.

Instructions on how to proceed were clear & easy to follow, and upon deciding to go ahead I was provided with a shipping label etc. Upon receipt of my headphones a final quote for work required was provided and an estimate of date of return. My headphones were shipped back to me fully repaired and 2 days ahead of original schedule.
