They were plugged into the arm rest and when the guy next to me (I was in the aisle seat) got out he pulled the cable and has pulled the wire which joins the jack plug to the battery/controller pack out of the controller pack. The headphones still work as pure noise cancellers but the wire needs replacing/re-fixing.
