Cable (OFC) needs replacing, or current one shortening as the fault is one or two inches from the headphone. New ear pads. (I have detached wires in the earphone looking to see if it is a job I could do myself – the connections are too fine for me to attempt the soldering. Also tore ear pad fabric trying to find out how they dismantle. I have *not* attempted any repair myself, I have not brought a soldering iron near them.)

All postal requirements were sent over and in the event the service was quick and painless and given notification of its safe arrival. As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
