These over ear headphones belong to my son who is learning disabled and uses he headphones to hear music from his Sony Walkman MP3. It keeps him calm when out on public transport.
He accidentally trod on the wire pulling one lead out of the smaller of the two black junction pieces. Instead of coming home he went into a local restaurant where two of the waitresses (who know him well) tried to help but made thing worse by cutting one of the leads!
As a result, the leads from each ear muff are attached to nothing. We then have another freestanding lead with the jack on the end.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
