Hi there, you recently did some work for me on MMCX cables for my Ultrasone Edition 5. Great work thanks.
Anyway, I also I have a pair of Ultrasone Edition 9 headphones (they have a hard wired cable) primarily for use at home and I also use them with a portable Sony portable headphone amp. However, they have a 6.35mm jack and when using them with a portable amp I'm using a 3.5mm adaptor. This is okay at home, however, the cord on the headphones is extraordinarily long if I'm taking them on a trip.
So, what I'd like basically, to use them as a true portable headphone, is the cord shortened to about 1.5 metres and terminated with a 3.5mm plug. I'd then like the cut end of the remaining cable, with the existing 6.35mm termination, fitted with a 3.5mm female plug so I can use that remaining cable as an extension cable at home with my fixed desk top rig.
