The amplifier goes into protection mode after it’s been on at a high volume for about 30 mins. If you turn it off and then in again it continues. Then shuts off again. The balance control doesn’t function correctly so the amp plays on one channel mostly. There is a broken rca connector in one of the inputs.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
