      • Good Afternoon. I have recently noticed that my cd drive on my lifestyle 48 media system sometimes intermittently is unable to play or stops playing mid cd . I have a large cd collection and it can happen on new or old cd's. When it does happen the cd's are always checked and play on other equipment i have. many years ago i had similar issues and had the equipment sent to Belgium Bose service centre for service/repair (they serviced the unit and replaced the Lazer head & drive). I contacted Bose recently and as the system is now discontinued they were unable to help and suggested contacting a local repairer. This is were you come in to the equation.       On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new.
