Hi I have a Bose Lifestyle Sound Touch entertainment system Model 535/525 that I can not get to work.
The System comprises:Bose Sound Touch Wireless Adaptor
Bose Acoustimass Power Speaker System – Model PS 48 III
Bose Control Console – Model AV35
Bluetooth Audio Adaptor –
Hand Held Remote Control
Five Speaker System Issues:
TV: Does not display the UNIFY Setup so cannot set it up
Speakers: No sound comes from the speakers
Bluetooth Audio Adaptor: This connects to my phone but no sound.
Bose sound App: Askes to set up via wireless adaptors Wi-Fi
Sound Touch Wireless Adaptor: Wi-Fi cannot be setupDisplays:
The display on the hand held controller only shows either off or cable starting up.
The Acoustimass Module indicator shows a Slow blinking amber – listed in the manual as Available to make a connection.Software:
The bose website recommends updating the software. I have tried to down load the software both through a computer and via a smart phone and vis a Bose flash drive and all fail to download. The down load gets to a maximum of 9% then stops. On the Wireless Addaptor during down loading the WiFi indicator blinks white indicating Connecting

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
