SPEAKER WAS WORKING UNTIL I RECENTLY CHANGED MY BROADBAND. PLUGGED IN USB AND DOWNLOADED BOSE SOUNDLINK PORTAL TO ENABLE THE SPEAKERS (2) TO SEARCH AND CONNECT TO NEW WIFI BUT AFTER 2 SECONDS OF SEARCHING FOR WIFI THE PORTAL THEN COMES UP WITH “ERROR” AND INSTRUCTS TO REMOVE AND REINSERT BATTERY, REFRESH PORTAL AND TRY AGAIN . I HAVE REPEATED THIS PROCESS NUMEROUS TIMES AND NO JOY. ALSO TRIED THE RESET BUTTON UNDERNEATH WHICH SHOULD HAVE ENABLED THE SPEAKER TO TRANSMIT A WIFI SIGNAL BUT ABSOLUTELY NO SIGNAL FROM BOTH SPEAKERS. BOSE UK INFORMED ME THAT THE WIFI CHIP IN EACH SPEAKER HAS GONE AND THEY NO LONGER SUPPLY THE PART. OTHER THAN THE WIFI TRANSMIT ISSUE THE SPEAKERS WORK AND PRODUCE SOUND. CAN YOU FIX THIS ISSUE PLEASE? I NEED 2 SPEAKERS REPAIRED PLEASE.

Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
