Hi,
My Canon DM 50 stops producing sound randomly. When this happens, there are no lights that come on in the front display, such as the lines that signify 'mute'. Instead, it's like the audio signal has just stopped. I've checked the connections and they're fine. I've check that the sound problem isn't being caused by the TV and it's not.
When sound does play, it's clear and quality. So it's unlikely to be the speakers. Have you come across this problem before? What would it cost to fix it? What happens if you cannot identify the problem?
The unit was purchased a little over two years ago.
