The CD player usually works fine at first but after about 30 mins, the eject button does not always work. Sometimes switching the machine off and on again fixes it but sometimes I just have to wait until ebpventually it opens.
Also, the CD player sometimes fails to read a CD. At first, this just seemed to happen with CDs which had been burned from a PC but now it also happens with some commercially produced CDs

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
