When the amp is on standby (turned on at the wall socket, turned on at the switch on the back, but turned off at the front button-switch) there is a low hum/buzz comes from the speakers – the red ‘off’ light is on constantly as it should be.
When the front button-switch is presses to ‘on’ you get the normal display of lights running along the selector buttons, round the volume control & back again.
Then when the amp tries to turn on there is a low ‘pop’ type sound as it trips out & the ‘on' light flashes between green & yellow, and the same ‘pop & on-light flashes’ recur roughly every 10 seconds.

Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
