Hi. I have just purchased a retro vintage hitachi music centre, and all seems well, bar perhaps a new stylus, but one problem is that when I switch to the cassette deck, the right channel/speaker gives out a high pitched hum, which is even there when you switch to the headphones. Also, the channel indicator for the right channel is at maximum when the tape deck is being used. I can listen to tapes via one speaker. It doesn’t happen when using the radio or turntable. I think it may need a repair/service

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
