This is a very old MP3 as I buy them second hand usually on Ebay as this model I believe has been discontinued by Iriver. The headphones only play one ear which ever earphones I use. If I wiggle it about I can get both earphones to work but it's not satisfactory. I've thrown away Iriver MP3s that have caused me this problem in the past but this is the only MP3 an old fool like me can operate.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
