1. only the faintest of output can be heard along with a high pitch tone as volume is increased …. same output from headphone jack.
2…the input selector on front slightly temperamental but works with a gentle push… no problem with selection via remote, so maybe just dirty behind button? I know they need to be dismantled usually if you can’t get any cleaner in.
Kenwood CD player DP-M87…. no clue…. I bought it second hand, doesn’t look as if it’s been messed with…. powers on and display fine, but the door won’t open to load disc. Probably a chip req’d.
