I have a Linn Classik that has stopped working. It previously had the standby problem and 4 capacitors were replaced and it worked flawlessly, but now a few years later it is completely dead: No response at all when pressing the power switch.
I had someone try to solder in new capacitors, but when he tried to remove the first one, it did not go well (it more or less broke off the board), so he stopped. Which I think was a good idea.
Do you think the Classik could be repaired? Because then I would ship it to you for repairs.

EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
