Long term problem for years. Cuts out on phono with hum for at least 15 minutes if the speaker select is left off that seems to help and that is how I now operate it to get it working. It is not the speakers as I have used others in the past. It has been recapped recently by a competent engineer but this long term fault persists. There is a slight smell every time and the relay cuts out light flashes on the display sometimes. After that everything is normal including phono but slight hum may return. If this happens it alters if I operate the smaller gain control in various positions
