The unit emits a "thunder" noise (I believe, from the 2nd input) even when the volume is "0" and no audio is plugged in. It can sometimes be silent for a few minutes and then the (loud) noise starts again. The unit is in (otherwise) good condition, hasn't been dropped and has always worked well. It is 6 yrs old. I have a short video of the issue if I can upload it.
