    This mp3 player is about a year old, it has many cracks and dents due to heavy use, but nothing so far has effected its performance, the greatest damage that I can see is a crack across the screen but this doesn't effect usage since it's not a touch screen and I am unbothered by this.

    The problem is that I left it uncharged for about 2 months and after charging it again it only gets to the splash screen and refuses to budge. Holding down the power button either does nothing or makes the power go off for a brief second before resuming to the splash screen.
