This is a speaker than can connect wirelessly or via an aux port.
Recently the speaker developed a crackle when playing via wireless, but played okay when attached to a player via an aux cable. The speaker suddenly stopped playing via either wireless or aux. It appears to connect to the internet and the lights appear normal.
I performed a firmware update but the item still does not produce any sound. The item is out of warranty and it appears that there have been faults with the first generation of this product (which this is).

EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
