I'm unsure as to the various components, however the hifi system consists of a tape player at the bottom, a middle amplifier (?) maybe, and a top section, with a turntable on the top.
Nothing seems to work except the on button which makes a noise as if electricity is getting to the system but the turntable, tape deck etc don't seem to work.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
