I have a Pioneer SA8100 amplifier where the phono stages (1 & 2) are very noisy (crackles and generally fuzzy). All of the other inputs and other aspects of the amplifier are fine. I assume that one or more components in the phono stage are failing. I have tried different turntables and different phono leads but it makes no difference. I am trying to get an idea of the rough cost of the necessary repairs and an idea of probable timescales for the repair. I would be happier to drop off and pick up the amplifier as I work the Catford area (S E London) and would like to minimise risk of damage to this old piece of kit, Regards, Bill

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
