Automatically goes to 'Protect' mode when internal relay switches main power on, even with speakers disconnected. I bought this new and boxed in an auction, but it had this fault on arrival. I have tried disconnecting the speaker wires from main PCB (to check for down-stream fault), but problem remains. Suspect this relates to output DC offset detection. Is this a common problem? This is a Class-D all switch-mode amp so not sure if its worth trying to repair it. Are these amps any good? Please advise.
