Amp is connected to a Behinger Xenyx Mixer and to two 15" 8–Ohm Speaker cabinet. So, When SWITCH on Amp it show the blue indicator start-light, and then immediately it switches itself off. So, I disconnected Amp from the Mixer and unplugged all 1/4" lead Cables, then Switched on ONLY the Amp. The Same thing happened: The Amp switches on its Blue Light then it switches itself off. I bought this Amp from Maplin abou 6 years ago, and it was used ONLY at home, occasional use, and all throughout the past 6 years it functioned without any problem. I changed the Fuse, but it did not seem to be the problem. However, I noticed that the fan does not whirr when I switched the Amp on. As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
